This sash is handmade on a loom using alpaca wool. Its design is a replica of the L’Assomption style sash which Elzéar Goulet wore. This is a great sash to celebrate the fur trading era and for canoe enthusiasts who want to relive the glory days of the river highways. In 1869, Elzéar Goulet served as second-in-command of the Métis militia under Ambroise-Dydime Lépine.
