This is the cord used on the British Belgic style shako, introduced in 1813. The cord is made of a wool/poly mix, doubled and woven in the correct over-loop design. The tassel balls are covered with corded knot work netting and the fringe is of 3/32" worsted twist. A fine quality and highly accurate reproduction.
